Join us in our heated marquee for an unforgettable festive afternoon or evening of live harmony, mulled wine, and Christmas cheer.

Each performance features two joyful half-hour sets from one of Nottingham’s finest community choirs — expect carols, singalongs, and festive favourites under the lights at The Magic Garden.

Ticketing & Entry

Q: Do I need a ticket?

  • Yes – tickets are available via Fatsoma

Q: Can I stay for multiple performances?

  • A: Each ticket is valid only for the performance listed. To attend multiple choirs, you’ll need a separate ticket for each.
  • A: After each performance, the marquee is reset for the next audience.
    • Saturday 13th December: Guests are welcome to remain in the marquee for up to 30 minutes after the show to enjoy the bar. After the final set, the marquee will be cleared when the show finishes, but you’re warmly invited to continue socialising in other areas of the venue alongside performers.
  • To guarantee a dining table, we recommend booking in advance. A card authorisation is required to secure your reservation; no payment is taken at the time of booking.
    • Saturday 20th December: Guests may stay in the marquee for up to 1 hour after the show before it is reset for the next performance, if you would like to dine, please book a table

Q: Do I need to print my ticket?

  • A: No need to print, we accept digital tickets. Just have your confirmation email or QR code ready at the entrance.

Q: Can I buy tickets on the door?

  • A: Advance booking is strongly recommended. Door sales are subject to availability and may be limited.

Q: Where is the venue?

  • A: The Magic Garden, 24–26 Low Pavement, Nottingham NG1 7DL.

Q: How do I get there?

  • A: Tram: Lace Market stop (~5–6 min walk)
  • A: Bus: Many NCT buses stop at Broadmarsh or Old Market Square
  • A: Parking: No parking at the venue. Nearby car parks: Broadmarsh, Lace Market, Fletcher Gate
  • (cheapest ~£4.40/4 hrs), Stoney Street

Q: Is the venue accessible?

  • A: Yes, the marquee has flat access for wheelchairs/mobility aids. There is also a disabled toilet with
  • baby changing facilities.

Q: What’s inside the performance marquee?

  • A: Heated marquee with stage and sound system
  • A: Limited seating near the stage for those unable to stand
  • A: Tall poser tables and some high stools available

Q: What if it rains or is very cold?

  • A: No problem – the performances are indoors in a heated marquee.
    We still recommend dressing warmly, in line with the December weather.

Q:What time should I Arrive?

  • A:Doors open 15 minutes before the show. We recommend arriving early to enjoy the bar and settle in before the performance begins.

Q: How long is the performance?

  • A: 2 30-minute sets with a 30-minute break in between. Exact timings may vary slightly.

Q: Where can I get food and drink?

  • Drinks
    • Our marquee hosts a fully stocked bar with Lager, IPA, Mulled wine, Wine, Cocktails, fizz, and soft drinks available throughout your visit.
    • The House Bar
    • Located inside The Magic Garden, the House Bar is open before, during, and after performances.
  • Dining
    • Food is served in our dedicated dining area, not inside the marquee. If you’d like to dine with us, we recommend booking a table 1.5 hours before your show or after it ends, tables are subject to availability. Our restaurant closes at 10pm.
    • Menus & reservations available via the TMG website, advance booking encouraged to avoid disappointment.
    • Our venue is cashless & only accepts card payments.

Q: Can I bring my own food or drinks?

  • A: Outside food and drink are not permitted. Our bar is fully stocked, and dining is available in the main venue.

Q: Can children attend?

  • A: Please note our usual policy requiring children to leave by 8pm does not apply for this event.

Q: Are dogs allowed?

  • A: Only assistance dogs are permitted inside the marquee. 

Q: Is smoking or vaping allowed?

  • A: Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the marquee or near entrances, there is a dedicated smoking area, please ask our team to direct you.

Q: Can I take photos or videos?

  • A: You’re welcome to take photos for personal use, but please be mindful of performers and other guests. Flash photography is discouraged. ?
